We're tired of fake reviews. You probably are too.

8.td started because we kept finding ourselves reading "reviews" that were obviously written by someone who'd never touched the product — or worse, by someone being paid to say nice things.

We actually buy and test the products we review. We use them for weeks or months, not hours. We gather feedback from real users. And we publish what we find — good and bad.

Our Principles

• No sponsored reviews. We buy our own test units. Manufacturers don't pay us, don't get to see our reviews before publication, and don't get to ask for changes.
• Real user feedback. Our comment sections include perspectives from actual buyers with months of real-world use, not just our lab testing.
• We tell you what NOT to buy. Most review sites give everything 4+ stars. We'll tell you when a product is bad — and why.
• Transparent methodology. We explain how we tested, who tested, and what limitations our testing had.

How We Make Money
