This is an IBC adapter with brass bib tap and Snap-On Tap connector,which is only suitable for ton barrels. Other plastic barrels may be different. Suitable for barrel mouth diameter of 60MM.
It will fit most standard UK and European IBC containers where the buttress thread is a coarse S60X6 thread. (Note: this is Coarse Thread not Fine Thread, please check before buying )
An S60X6 Buttress thread measures 60 mm across from thread edge to thread edge and has a 6 mm pitch (distance between the threads).
Allows you to draw water off a tank with ease.The tap also acts as useful back up safety valve, or for fine flow control.
Note:If your tank buttress is not an S60X6 (about 20% are not) you need purchase a Buttress Thread Converter which will convert the thread to the S60X6 you will require.
