The Kindle Paperwhite is the sweet spot in Amazon’s e‑reader lineup. The screen is crisp, the lighting is even, and the waterproofing makes it a great travel companion.
What we like
- Sharp, glare-free display that’s easy on the eyes.
- Great battery life (think weeks, not days).
- Waterproof design is perfect for beach or bath reading.
What to consider
- Amazon ecosystem is convenient, but not everyone loves being locked in.
- Audiobooks require Bluetooth headphones; there’s no speaker.
Who should buy it
If you want a dedicated reading device that’s lighter than a tablet and easier on your eyes, the Paperwhite is an easy recommendation.
Are there any special recommendations for design or an updated guide that includes new preview sizes, including retina displays?
It’s too big preview image, it should be smaller even five in row. On one page there are 30 items to 60 pages it is 1800 items in categories eg in Add-Ons category have 22749 items, why not see all of them but only those 1800 items? This is a bad thing.
I do not like. Choosing a template has become more difficult.
Small thumbnails 80x80px were better.
